Weapon exhibition and firing held in India- Kazakhstan joint military exercise

Uttarakhand. The 08th edition of India Kazakhstan Joint Exercise KAZIND is underway from 30 September 2024 at Surya Foreign Training Node Auli, Uttarakhand. The Indian contingent comprising 120 personnel is being represented by the Kumaon Regiment. Personnel from the Indian Air Force as well as supporting arms and services are also participating in it.

Weapons and equipment display, weapon handling and firing for the troops were conducted during the joint sub conventional operations under Chapter VII of the United Nations mandate.

The soldiers of the Indian contingent shared their expertise and experience with the soldiers of the Kazakhstan contingent during the weapon and equipment display. The commitment of both the countries towards operational work was demonstrated during the exercise which included intensive training sessions of weapons and practice of various types of tactical firing. The Kedia objective of Exercise KAZIND 2024 is to enhance synergy and interoperability and ensure tactical precision in close quarter battle.
