Uttarakhand. The holy Shardiya Navratri festival of Hinduism is going on these days. Worship of Mother Bhagwati is going on in homes and temples, a similar scene was seen in the Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan- Shakti Ka Samman program organized in Rudraprayag. Here, girls were in the form of Maa Durga in the stalls set up by women’s groups. The Chief Minister took blessings from the girls at the stalls and presented them gifts.
After the inauguration and foundation stone laying program, Chief Minister Dhami inspected the departmental stalls set up at the Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan- Shakti Ko Samman program venue. The Chief Minister was delighted to see the girls wearing nine forms of Mother Bhagwati Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandha Mata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri in the stalls set up by various departments, while the girls looked very happy to have Chief Minister Dhami among them. The Chief Minister bowed down and took blessings from them and presented them gifts. During this, he also made cow dung lamps while sitting with the women’s groups. Before this, he prayed for the welfare of the state and the world by offering prayers at the Maharishi Valmiki temple located in front of the Agastyamuni ground. He also honored the environmental friends of Nagar Panchayat Agastyamuni.
Under NRLM in the district, the Rural Development Department gave a grant of 45 lakh 75 rupees at the rate of 75 thousand rupees per woman through the Community Investment Fund to the Lakhpati sisters of 61 self-help groups. While cheques ranging from one and a half to six lakhs were distributed to 06 women groups under CCL. Power bidders were distributed to 05 farmers by the Agriculture Department at 80 percent subsidy. Free spray machines were distributed to 05 farmers by the Horticulture Department. Cheques were distributed to three beneficiaries of the Tourism Department.
