Due to road being closed…. doli became the support for the patient

Uttarakhand. The road of Barudi Tok of remote Seal village of Barakot block of Champawat district has been completely washed away due to the disaster that occurred a few days ago. Both the roads connecting the village are closed due to which many villages of the area have been completely cut off from other places. On Monday, the health of an elderly woman of the village, Lakshmi Devi (60) wife of Joga Singh, suddenly deteriorated.

Due to the closure of roads from both sides, the villagers brought the woman on a doli (palanquin) for three kilometers on rough and broken roads after a difficult journey of two hours to Netra, from where the woman was brought to Lohaghat hospital via vehicle. Villagers said that the road of Gangali and Netra Salan is completely closed.

Due to which there have been a lot of problems in the area. The villagers have demanded the administration to open the road as soon as possible. Social worker of the area, Ramesh Singh said that along with the road being closed, the footpaths and drinking water schemes of the area have been washed away, the youth of the village have gone out in search of employment, due to which the elderly somehow brought the woman to the road with the help of a doli (palanquin).

He demanded the administration to open the road of the area as soon as possible. He said that due to the closure of the road, the villagers are facing many kinds of problems. During this time, Pushkar Singh, Anna Rajput, Kedar Singh, Puran Singh, Mohan Singh, Kalyan Singh etc. villagers of the village were present.
