Minister Rekha Arya’s announcement… Uttarakhand will soon get a ‘Youth Commission’ and a ‘Youth Policy’ will be made

Dehradun. Today, Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya held a review meeting with departmental officials at the Directorate of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard Corps, Dehradun. In the meeting chaired by Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya, important topics were discussed regarding the registration and incentive amount of PRD jawans, making Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dal self-reliant.

Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya said that out of the announcements made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for PRD jawans, the government order for most of the announcements came out in the month of September, in which there is also a government order to give an incentive amount of Rs 50 during his Char Dham Yatra.

The process of registering PRD jawans through the portal is going on, earlier a release was issued by the department in which the last date given to register PRD jawans in the portal till August 20 and include their documents in the online process was given, instructions have been given to extend its date, along with this, the Secretary has been instructed by Minister Rekha Arya to talk to the PRD organizations and extend the date of registration as well as provide last chance to the PRD jawans.

Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya has directed the department to prepare a proposal to make the Nav Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dal self-reliant and empowered. Minister Rekha Arya said that the department has been asked to hold a meeting to review the proposal of today’s relevant needs of Mahila Mangal Dal and Nav Yuvak Mangal Dal so that their work can be done in accordance with the sentiments of Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dal.

Speaking on the formation of the Youth Commission and Youth Policy in the state, Minister Rekha Arya said that in accordance with the BJP’s manifesto, our government is working at a fast pace for the formation of youth policy and youth commission in the state, for which today we have instructed the officials to prepare the proposal as soon as possible so that the promise made to the public is fulfilled and we hope that soon the youth of the state will see the Youth Commission on the ground.

Minister Rekha Arya, calling today’s meeting meaningful, said that effective decisions have been taken in the meeting for the youth, Nav Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dal and PRD jawans, which shows that our government is dedicated to the all-round development of youth and women.

On this occasion, Special Principal Secretary Amit Sinha, Director Sports Jitendra Kumar Sonkar, Additional Director Ajay Kumar Agarwal, Joint Director Shakti Singh and officials of the Youth Welfare Department were present.
