Dehradun. Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission has issued an advertisement for selection on the vacant posts of Data Entry Operator, Computer Assistant-cum-Receptionist, Junior Assistant, Receptionist, Mate, Work Supervisor, Housing Inspector under various departments of Uttarakhand state through Group ‘C’ direct recruitment.
According to the advertisement issued by the Commission, online applications have been invited for selection through direct recruitment on 03 vacant posts of Data Entry Operator, 03 vacant posts of Computer Assistant-cum-Receptionist under Governor Secretariat Uttarakhand, 465 vacant posts of Junior Assistant under various departments of Uttarakhand state, 05 vacant posts of Receptionist under State Property Department, 01 vacant post of Housing Inspector, 268 vacant posts of Mate under Irrigation Department and 06 vacant posts of Work Supervisor i.e. a total of 751 vacant posts.
Interested candidates can apply online on the Commission’s website www.sssc.uk.gov.in till 01.11.2024. The date of starting online application is 11.10.2024. Whereas, the last date for applying online is 01.11.2024 and the date for making amendments in the online application form is from 05.11.2024 to 08.11.2024. Similarly, the provisional date of written examination is 19.01.2025.
According to the Commission, the selection process for the posts of Data Entry Operator, Computer Assistant-cum-Receptionist and Junior Assistant will be in 02 phases. In the first phase, there will be a written competitive examination and on the basis of merit in the written competitive examination, there will be a qualifying typing test of the selected candidates. For the selection of candidates, the Commission will conduct an objective type competitive examination in Offline or Online mode.
The date mentioned in respect of the competitive examination is approximate. Information regarding the date of examination will be made available separately in due course on the Commission’s website, press release in daily newspapers and also to the candidates through SMS and E-mail on the mobile phone number given by them in their online application form. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the Commission’s website only.
The Commission will not issue admit cards through post. Candidates will get important information also from the Commission’s website, E-mail or SMS only. Therefore, candidates should fill their own phone/mobile number and E-mail in the application form.

Therefore, it is necessary that the candidates keep visiting the Commission’s website www.ssse.uk.gov.in from time to time for information regarding the selection process such as examination schedule, issuance of admit card etc.
