Freshers party celebrated with great pomp in GRD

Dehradun. (04 October 2024) In the capital’s prestigious college Guru Ram Das Institute of Management and Technology, Rajpur Road Dehradun, today the old students welcomed the new students with colorful programs.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Institute Sardar Raja Singh, Vice Chairman Sardar Inderjit Singh, Dolly Oberoi, Prabhji Oberoi and Director General Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary by lighting the lamp.

Welcoming the students, Director General Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary asked the students and teachers to use knowledge for human welfare by being equipped with the latest research and techniques in the changing industrial and educational environment and wished them a bright future and called upon them to become responsible citizens of the country. Various participants captivated everyone through programs like solo dance, group dance, singing, mimicry, drama etc. On this occasion, famous Bollywood singer Anamika forced everyone to dance with her famous songs.

Speaking to the media in the press conference, Dolly Oberoi said that “Our college develops skills in children according to the industry and gives them placement at national and international level. We believe that children should be multitasking so that they can handle all kinds of work very easily and act as an asset to the institute they are associated with.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman Sardar Inderjit Singh, Dolly Oberoi, Prabhji Oberoi, Surjit Kaur, Director General Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary, Registrar KK Rana, Pharmacy Director, Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Negi, Dr. Pranshu, Dean Academic, Dr. Sohan Singh Rawat, Paramjit Singh, and Dr. Divya Negi (Managing Director), Dr. Karunakar Jha (Director Corporate Affairs) along with non-teaching staff and students were present.
