Dehradun. Society of Mission 4G plus Gau, Ganga, Village and Gayatri and Sanskar International School Badripur are going to organize a huge art and literary confluence Kavya Sandhya. This event will be held on Tuesday, 1st October. This event is being organized in the memory of great freedom fighter Late Chaudhary Satyendra Singh ji. During the Kavya Sandhya, well-known poets from the field of art and literature will participate.

The organization is also going to start an award program. Under which every year seven litterateurs / artists will be selected and honored. Freedom fighter Chaudhary Satyendra Singh will be honored with the Art and Literature Ratna Award announced by Sanskar International in the memory of Chaudhary Satyendra Singh ji. Which is being organized and coordinated by Subhash Bhatt ji’s Society of Mission 4G plus Gau, Ganga, Village and Gayatri.

 

Chaudhary Satyendra Singh is counted among the famous great freedom fighters of Dehradun and Uttarakhand district. He was also the President of Uttarakhand Freedom Fighters Association. Inspired by the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Chaudhary Satyendra Singh actively participated in the freedom struggle of India for which he was imprisoned several times during the British rule in India. After Independence, he was honoured with a copper plate twice by the Central Government for his contribution to the freedom struggle. After Independence itself, he was appointed Honorary Magistrate for a period of 10 years from 1947 to 1957.

He also worked with Vinoba Bhave who is considered the father of Indian renaissance. He was the convener of Bhoodan Samiti Dehradun. He inspired rich landowners and poor landless farmers to donate their land for farming. He was also a founder member of Ashok Ashram which is located in Jaunsar Kalsi. Chaudhary sahab always worked to reach out to the last person in the hills who were deprived and poor in health and education. Chaudhary Satyendra Singh worked with many social organizations during his lifetime like the Managing Committee of D.A.V. College Dehradun, MKP Kanya Pathshala, Red Cross Society, Khadi Village Udyog etc. He was a true nationalist and a strong believer of international peace and brotherhood.

This year, the organization has taken the initiative to participate in the “Freedom Fighter Choudhary Satyendra Singh Kala Evam Sahitya Ratna Award” and make it successful. This award will be given by the hands of former Chief Minister, Uttarakhand and former Governor Maharashtra Hon. Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji. In this, 7 senior most litterateurs of the literary world have been selected. Apart from this, a grand event of poetry recitation by emerging new poets and some literary intellectuals has also been organized in the Kavya Sangam evening.

Regarding the Society of Mission 4G Plus Gau, Ganga, Village and Gayatri, the President of the organization Subhash Chandra Bhatt told that Mission 4G Plus Gau, Ganga, Village and Gayatri had earlier also organized a literary evening in Sanskar International School. This time this evening will be a little different, because the name of a great freedom fighter has been added to it.
