Uninterrupted power supply continues in Hemkund Sahib and all four Dhams

Uttarakhand. In continuation of the guidance and instructions of Hon’ble Chief Minister, UPCL family is determined to provide better power supply in all the four Dhams and Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji. Since the power supply in all the four Dhams and Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji areas is affected due to adverse conditions such as bad weather, heavy rainfall and storm, the regional teams of UPCL are working on a war footing to ensure continuity of power supply in minimum time.

As per the instructions issued by the Managing Director, UPCL, the Director (Operations) is monitoring the condition of all 33/11 KV substations, HT/LT lines and street lights on a daily basis to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all the four Dhams and Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji and in view of the contingency, arrangements of materials such as conductors, cables, poles, transformers have also been ensured in all the Dhams so that the visiting devotees do not face any kind of problem.

Managing Director, UPCL has directed all officers and employees to remain stationed at their respective places of deployment and except in any unavoidable situation, ensure uninterrupted power supply to all the four Dhams of the state and Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji.
