Dehradun. Uttarakhand has suffered a lot of damage during the monsoon season. All the officers are working to assess the damage as well as to improve the arrangements. Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman said that now the major period of rain is over and the period of light rain will continue. There have been problems due to landslides at many places and all the roads are being made smooth.

He has talked about working on all possibilities by taking concrete initiatives in the landslide zones identified at Pagal Nala and other places on the Kedarnath route. The Disaster Management Secretary said that other options are also being brainstormed for the Kedarnath route. More than two hundred and fifty roads are still blocked in the monsoon season. Work is being done to open all of them and data is being collected.
