During Ganesh immersion, four youths were swept away by the strong current of the river.

In Sultanpur Patti of Kashipur, four youths got swept away in Kosi river in a tragic accident during Ganesh Visarjan after Ganesh Mahotsav late at night. Out of which one youth came out of the river safely while three youths got swept away in Kosi river.

It is being told that all three youths are residents of Gaddha Colony in Kashipur.

This is a big accident. This big accident happened during Ganesh Visarjan. As soon as the news of the accident was known, there was chaos among the family members.

Continuous efforts are being made to find the three youths but no trace of them could be found till late evening. After getting the information, the team of administration and rescue team reached the spot. The youths could not be traced till late night despite the search by the rescue team.
