Sub-committee meeting held on land regulation issue

Dehradun. A meeting of the cabinet sub-committee constituted to regulate various categories of land in the state was held on Wednesday in the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali auditorium in the Secretariat.

In the meeting chaired by the sub-committee chairman and cabinet minister Shri Subodh Uniyal, there was a discussion regarding illegal occupation of class (3), class (4) and other various categories of government land. The Forest Minister was informed on this occasion that reports were sought from all the District Magistrates regarding these lands, in which all except two districts have provided their reports.

In the meeting, the minister instructed the officials that work has to be done very seriously regarding the regulation of land. He said that the meeting of the sub-committee should be called again as soon as possible so that decisions can be taken on the matters related to them. Other topics including Kham land were also discussed in the meeting.
